If you realize ahead of time that you won’t make it to the tour’s start on time, we suggest contacting your guide in advance. By doing so, they can provide you with an alternative meeting point or share their location so you can join the tour later.
2. How can I change my booking details (date, time, language, number of people)
Log in and go to your bookings. You can do it in simple steps.
To change the date, language, or number of people attending the tour, go to the modification of the tour in your booking details.
In the next step, you can choose a new available start time, date, language, and adjust the number of attendees.
When you’re finished, save changes and your booking will be automatically updated in your account.
Note that this function only lets you edit the details of your current booking. To switch to a different tour, you will need to cancel your existing booking and make a new one.
3. Can I receive the photos we took during the tour?
Sure! Contact us directly and tell us exactly which day and time you joined our tour. Please, mention the kind of tour and guide’s name. It will help us to help you promptly!
4. Is it crucial to have a tour booked?
Yes, you cannot arrive at the meeting point without a booking – moreover, the booking doesn’t take much time and guarantees you a spot on experience planned!
Booking secures your spot and helps the guide to plan better. Without a booking, you won’t receive important information from your guide or notifications about any changes to the tour.
If guides don’t receive a booking, they might not show up at the meeting point, assuming there are no participants. Additionally, the tour could be fully booked.
5. How much should I tip the guide for a free tour?
All free tours on our website are free to book, allowing you to choose how much to pay at the end based on your experience.
To decide on a fair payment, consider the following: the guide has a fixed cost for transport expenses, a particular kind of taxes, or other local fees. Next, think about the guide’s effort, expertise, and how much you enjoyed the tour.
You can choose to give any amount, whether it’s €/$10 or €/$50. For instance, if you give €10, about €5 goes towards the guide’s expenses, and the other €5 is their earnings. You’re free to pay what you feel is fair unless, due to a larger group size, a minimum price per person has been agreed upon, as free tours are primarily for individual travelers, not groups.
